Artist Statement
My art represents my ability to be creative, diverse, and experimental. From children's book illustrations to photo-realistic portraits, landscapes or abstracts, I am constantly experimenting and pushing my art to the next level.
Bio
I’ve been an artist ever since I can remember. Drawing and creating my entire life. After graduating with honors from Ringling College of Art & Design in 1983, I founded Verrandeaux Visual Communications, an advertising agency attracting international and domestic clients. A very fast-paced and high stress business, with the help of my husband, Bob, we grew to 13 employees. In 2008 I decided to focus on my fine art, portraits, commissions and landscapes. Even with my perfect timing of the Great Recession and a housing crisis, I stayed busy with portraits, book covers, illustrations and murals. I still accept commissions and have a few select galleries that sell my work.
